How the collection came to be held
An archive depends on somebody agreeing to look after it. This page is that account, in the custodian's own words.

A few prompts, should they help: how you knew Mukund Nawathe; the circumstances in which the papers were handed to you; what you found when you first went through them; why you decided they should be published rather than kept; and what you hope the Mandal's community does with them now.
Three or four paragraphs is plenty. Send it in whatever form suits you, including a voice note, and it will be set into this page.
The collection is held in the United Kingdom by the custodian, who received it directly from Mukund Nawathe. Full-resolution master scans and the original papers remain in the custodian's own keeping and are not published on this site.
Items are published here with the Mandal's permission, in good faith and with no commercial intent. Decisions about what appears, how it is described and whether an item should be withdrawn rest with the custodian.
